You don’t need to know anything about tea to enjoy this ceremony. Just come as you are. Watch, sip, breathe—and allow yourself to be present.
Some suggestions as to how to prepare :
- Dress in comfortable clothes—so you can sit cross legged on a meditation cushion. If you would like a chair please let me know.
- Arrive on time – once the ceremony starts, we will not be able to interrupt it
- Avoid wearing strong scents
- It’s best to arrive on a somewhat empty stomach
